A career in support services

The opportunities to play a supporting role in the efficient running of our hospitals are varied and many. It’s almost difficult to know where to begin. 

There are some roles you might expect such as adminstrative assistants, medical secretaries and ward clerks. However, there are many more that you may not know about. For example, our estates team is made up of electricians, plumbers, carpenters, decorators and CAD and signage experts.

We have opportunities within administrative or professional services including finance, human resources, informatics, communications and commercial development, with roles ranging from entry level and training posts to senior management and directors.
