With over 120,000 outpatient visits, 6,000 inpatient cases, and 24,000 eye casualty attendances annually, you’ll gain exposure to a diverse and complex patient population.

Our Unit features a state-of-the-art outpatient department and modern operating theatres, equipped with the latest technology. The Glaucoma Team is a vibrant, innovative group comprising 4 Consultants, 3 Specialist Doctors, 2 Specialty Doctors, Fellows, and Specialist Nurses, delivering both traditional glaucoma surgery and MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery).

As a Specialty Doctor, you will:

- Manage complex glaucoma cases and contribute to high standards of care.
- Participate in regular regional teaching and local glaucoma meetings.
- Support the training and development of AHPs and junior medical staff.
