We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated doctors to join our undergraduate education team as Clinical Teaching Fellows at University Hospital Southampton (UHS). These posts will commence in February 2026.

These posts are ideal for doctors post-Foundation Training (or equivalent) who have a genuine interest in medical education and wish to develop as clinical educators while maintaining close links with patient care.

You will work alongside the education team to deliver high-quality, innovative teaching to medical students from the University of Southampton’s BM programmes.

You will deliver bedside and small-group teaching, support simulation-based learning, facilitate assessment and feedback sessions, and take a lead in mentoring students in Years 3–5.

There will be opportunities to design and evaluate novel educational projects such as Clinical Reasoning Groups, Simulation-On-Call, and MARS week, all highlighted by the University’s recent Quality Assurance visit as examples of best practice at UHS.
