We are looking for an experienced Major trauma advanced clinical practitioner to join our team here at University Hospital Southampton. 

The role contributes significantly to the effectiveness and resilience of the trauma service by supporting consultant-led care, enhancing continuity, and improving patient flow. Through advanced practice skills, leadership and collaboration, the ACP will support junior staff, promote evidence-based practice and contribute to education, audit and service development.

Aligned with organisational objectives, the post supports improved clinical outcomes, patient safety and experience by reducing delays in assessment and treatment, optimising care coordination, and supporting delivery of national trauma standards. The Major Trauma ACP will play a key role in driving quality improvement, workforce development and sustainable service delivery within a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

You will report to the Lead Major Trauma ACP and support the supervision, education and development of trainee Major Trauma ACPs.
