UHS Therapies is offering a 7-month internal secondment opportunity for a B6 Physio to join the respiratory rotation.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the delivery of high-quality respiratory physiotherapy services, contributing to the health and well-being of our patients. As a B6 Respiratory Physiotherapist, you will work in a challenging yet rewarding clinical environment with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

You will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with various respiratory conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, COPD, asthma, trauma, critical care, and post-operative thoracic surgery patients.

We provide a 7-day therapy service for our Trust and therefore you need to be able to work weekends and bank holiday, in a rota basis. For Physiotherapists this includes our acute respiratory out of hours service (On-call), which includes treating both adults and children with complex respiratory conditions in intensive care.

This post is part of the wider Therapy services department. You will be part of a large department of over 300 Therapy staff including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy support staff, so will have peer support available to you.
