An exciting opportunity has arisen within Wessex Genomics at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for an Associate Practitioner to join our team on a 12 month fixed term secondment.  

The role will be to support the provision of molecular testing in the Wessex region and nationally for a comprehensive range of investigations for haematological disease, MRD, disease associations, lymphoma and solid tumours, including NGS analysis of solid organ tumours.

Our UKAS accredited department is a Local Genomics Laboratory as part of the Wessex, Oxford and West Midlands Genomics Laboratory Hub, one of seven across England.  

The laboratory works closely with both Cellular Pathology and Haematology services to enable the provision of molecular diagnostics for the region and nationally. You will be required to work 37.5 hours a week, working flexibly as needed, between 08:00 - 20:00 hrs.
