We are offering an exciting internal opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, dynamic and forward-thinking pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Education and Training team at UHS.  This role is central to shaping the future of pharmacy professionals and supporting their growth within a leading healthcare organisation. 

As part of our team you will: 

  • Design, deliver and support training programmes for pharmacy undergraduates, trainee pharmacists and staff across pharmacy and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Provide educational supervision and mentorship, helping others to develop while advancing your own leadership skills.
  • Play a key role in embedding prescribing into the foundation pharmacist training year, ensuring our trainees are equipped for the evolving demands of the profession. 

UHS is one of the largest training providers for foundation trainee pharmacists and undergraduate pharmacy placements in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. In this pivotal role you will work alongside the current post holder to: 

  • Line manage Trainee Pharmacists,
  • Lead and deliver local and regional training programmes, ensuring high quality education and development opportunities. 

This is a chance to influence the future of pharmacy education and contribute to improving patients care across the region. 

Dependant on your knowledge, skills and previous experience you will join either as a Band 7 or a Band 8A pharmacist, you will be supported through our progression pathway, enabling you to develop your portfolio, with particular emphasis on the leadership and education pillars.
