Clinical Engineering is looking for a qualified Clinical Technologist (Healthcare Science Practitioner) to join its team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. For candidates who don't have the relevant experience or qualifications, a position may be considered at a lower band. You will offer technical advice to clinical and scientific staff and complete planned maintenance, corrective maintenance, calibration, acceptance, and decommissioning tasks on a range of medical equipment.

With a clear focus on quality and patient services, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of medical equipment across many clinical specialities that support the delivery of world-class healthcare here at University Hospital Southampton, within the local healthcare community and overseas. The role may include exciting opportunities for 2-5 days of overseas work per year.
