Are you compassionate, caring, and a great communicator? Are you looking to grow your career in a world-class teaching hospital? Or perhaps you're considering a career change and seeking secure, rewarding employment?
We believe our Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) role offers exactly that opportunity. Our tailored training programme will support your development and help you thrive in your new role.
We are excited to offer opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to join our Critical Care Department, which includes:
•    General Intensive Care
•    Surgical High Dependency

•    Cardiac Intensive Care
—all based at University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).
This is a vital role, supporting critically ill patients and their families. You'll work closely with nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals to deliver the highest standards of care in a fast-paced and emotionally challenging environment.
If you're ready to begin your journey in healthcare, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll start with a full-time, one-week induction programme, which includes completing your Care Certificate and helps you settle into the hospital and become part of our team from day one. We also offer ongoing training and development to help you reach your full potential.
