We are very supportive and there is always someone to help if you have a question. We work very closely with the clinical dermatology department. The team consists of two research fellows so they support each other and make study leave and annual leave easy to take. There are lots of team get togethers in work and out of work with great support from consultants for learning. The fellows are fully supported by dedicated dermatology research nurses
Our fellows have done very well in their careers and have gone on to dermatology training numbers along with previous fellows gaining publications and national presentations during their time with us. We are very supportive to our fellows needs to grow their CV and to gain the optimal points for applications.
The two fellows are invaluable to the running of our research studies. They consult with patients in clinical trials and also undertake routine clinical care in dermatology clinics and with inpatients. We encourage fellows to gain skills and support them to train in skin surgery and other techniques.
