We have a unique 12-month fixed term opportunity for a 0.6 B7 Physiotherapist to join our Paediatric Outpatient respiratory and Long-term ventilation teams, covering maternity leave.
We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, and enthusiastic Physiotherapist (0.6 wte) with good problem solving skills, broad respiratory experience, and a keen interest in working with children and young people with long term respiratory conditions.
The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced respiratory paediatric Physiotherapists and extensive MDT, managing children with long term respiratory conditions in a variety of settings. The post provides a comprehensive Physiotherapy service provision to children accessing the Children’s Hospital long-term ventilation service, including admission avoidance and early supportive discharge of complex respiratory patients from the wards, as well as supporting the respiratory element of the regional neuromuscular and wider cardio-respiratory services.
This post is part of the wider Therapy services department. You will have many opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge through our in-service training. You will be part of a large department of over 300 Therapy staff including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy support staff.
