A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated leader to step into a key role within the Wessex Genomics Laboratory Service (WGLS) as Operations Manager within Pathology at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).

This role offers the chance to lead the operational delivery of WGLS while actively contributing to significant transformation programmes as part of the Central and South Genomic Medicine Service. You will play a central role in supporting the alignment, standardisation and future development of services across the Wessex region, ensuring high-quality, efficient and sustainable delivery for patients and service users.

Working closely with Consultant Clinical Scientists and the wider Pathology leadership team, you will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. You will lead teams through change, supporting service improvements, shaping how genomics services are delivered in the future.
