E5 Lower GI is an 18 bedded ward that gains enormous satisfaction in driving high standards of care for patients that have undergone pioneering surgery and thrives on the challenge to constantly improve their patient’s experience from admission to a successful discharge.

We are a proud spirited team who always put the patient first, building trusting relationships with our longer term patient and their families. The team utilise recovery pathways and include the best evidence which aims to optimise outcome and improve patient’s experience. As a team our aim is to empower patients to become partners in their care by giving them the information need every step of the way. 

The successful candidate will work within the senior team,  oversea and manage their own team and will report to the ward leader and matron team.
