Neonatal Services are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a patient-focused, friendly, and enthusiastic Senior Sister to join our senior nursing team. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day leadership of the neonatal unit, working closely with the senior leadership team to drive the service forward. This includes progressing the unit towards UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) accreditation, implementing the Family Integrated Care (FICare) strategy, and contributing to the continued development of high-quality, family-centred neonatal care.

In this role, you will lead the ongoing development of our well-established and expanding Milk Bank Service, ensuring it continues to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care. You will also be responsible for embedding Family Integrated Care (FICare) across the unit, ensuring families are fully supported and actively involved throughout their neonatal journey.

A central aspect of the role involves supporting and guiding the team to provide families with the best possible opportunities to succeed in their breastfeeding journey, while helping them build close, loving relationships with their babies. Your work will help ensure that every infant receives the very best start in life.
