We are a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and specialist surgical and cardiac centre, caring for 40 babies across ICU, HDU, and Special Care cots. Following our recent expansion, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Practice Educator to lead and inspire clinical education across our Neonatal service.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape practice, support staff development, and drive excellence in patient care. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education, embedding best practice, and supporting teams to provide safe, effective care, while contributing to service development and continuous improvement.

Working alongside the Lead Educator and the other practice educators within the unit, you will play an integral part in rolling out the education strategy across neonatal services.

You will have oversight of learners on both the QIS foundation and QIS speciality pathways as well as being responsible for the ongoing clinical skills development of existing staff. We are offering a 1 year secondment for a skilled neonatal practitioner with a strong clinical background, a passion for education, and the ability to motivate and support others.
