An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Ophthalmology as a band 7 senior leader within our eye outpatients service.  

This role provides leadership across both Southampton and Lymington eye outpatient departments, and the successful candidate will be committed to delivering a high standard of visible, compassionate and proactive leadership across both sites.  

We are seeking a highly motivated, well established leader, ideally with Ophthalmic knowledge and experience, who can inspire teams, drive service improvements and uphold the highest standards of patient care.  

Eye outpatients is a busy, forward thinking department, supporting over 55 team members and caring for up to 300 patients per session.   The successful candidate will need to be innovative, flexible and resilient, with the ability to lead through change, support workforce development and maintain a positive, inclusive culture.

The service runs Monday - Saturday, 07.30-19.00
Ability to travel is essential to support services in Lymington as well as Southampton.
