This role involves leading a team, involving nurses with different levels of experience and HCA's as well. This role will also involve being in charge of the shift and coordinating admissions and discharges on the unit. They will be reporting to their line manger who will be the band 7 in their team. This role ensures that patient safety is maintained and that staff are adequately supported to achieve the unit goals.

The candidate will need to be able to work a minimum of 30hours/week because of the nature of this role. The candidate will need to be self motivated, have good communication skills and offer effective leadership to the team.
