The Acute Medical Unit (AMU) at University Hospital Southampton is looking for an experienced Sister / Charge Nurse to join the team, this is a full time, permanent position. 

AMU is a very busy 54 bedded unit spread across five areas.  We admit patients directly from the emergency department, Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) or GP, at their most unwell phase at any time of the day or night.  We aim to treat our patients and either discharge them home within 48hrs of admission, or to move to a speciality ward within this time.  This means no two days will be the same and our patients are always changing.
