An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Neonatal Surgical Team as a Band 6 Neonatal Surgical Nurse. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced neonatal nurse to join our specialist team on a 12-month secondment.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse looking to further develop their neonatal expertise, leadership skills, and specialist knowledge within a busy tertiary neonatal unit. You will have the opportunity to provide expert nursing care and support to surgical neonates and their families, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding, family-centred care.

The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced neonatal nursing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a passion for achieving the best possible outcomes for babies and their families. You will play a key role in patient management, staff education, service development, and the ongoing improvement of care for our surgical neonatal population.
