We are seeking an experienced nurse to work in the busy Surgical Pre Operative Assessment unit at Southampton General Hospital. You will start off as a band 5 and commence a comprehensive training and development pathway, on completion of competency sign offs you will be promoted to band 6 Nurse Practitioner which can take between 3-6 months. We also run a clinic in Lymington and occasional working across both sites is expected.

Our team is made up of Nurse Practitioners (working across Southampton and Lymington), Health Care Assistants and administrative staff. The clinic opening hours and therefore working days/hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 0745-1745. We are a busy service and currently pre-assess around 10,000 patients per year for multiple surgical specialities.
