This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialist Surgical Intestinal Failure Ward F11, as a Band 6 Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, where you will play a vital role in leading high‑quality, compassionate care for patients with complex gastrointestinal and nutritional needs.

As a senior member of the nursing team, you will help drive excellent clinical standards, support safe and effective patient flow, and contribute to improving outcomes for individuals requiring highly specialised surgical and nutritional management.

Your leadership will have a direct impact on patient experience, safety, and the continued development of our specialist service. You will work closely within a skilled multidisciplinary team—including surgeons, dietitians, nutrition nurses, pharmacists, and therapy staff—and will report to the Ward Manager while providing day‑to‑day leadership, guidance and support to the nursing workforce.

You’ll need to have strong clinical experience in acute or surgical care, confident leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
