We are seeking an experienced and reflective Senior Healthcare Chaplain to join our Spiritual Care Department to provide safe, confidential and inclusive spiritual care to patients, relatives, carers and staff across the Trust.
As a key member of the team, you will contribute to delivering and developing a high-quality spiritual care service that responds meaningfully to illness, trauma, bereavement, crisis and celebration. Your work will have a direct impact on patient experience, staff wellbeing and the compassionate culture we strive to uphold every day.
This is a role of both pastoral presence and professional leadership. You will provide specialist spiritual care, officiate at sensitive services, support and supervise volunteers and honorary chaplains, contribute to teaching and reflective practice across the Trust, and play an active role in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Reporting to the Spiritual Care Manager, you will work collaboratively within the Spiritual Care team and alongside multi-professional colleagues across the organisation. You will also help coordinate team activity in the absence of the team leader, ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by living our values and supporting every patient and colleague, every day.
