This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Band 5 nurse to join our Respiratory Research Team at UHS. You will be involved in delivering a wide portfolio of respiratory studies, including long-term conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and acute respiratory infections.
Our research focuses on improving patient outcomes through innovative, patient-centred approaches to care. The work we deliver contributes directly to advancing respiratory medicine and shaping future standards of treatment both locally and nationally.

We are committed to ensuring that all eligible patients have the opportunity to take part in research and to integrating research into routine clinical care. You will work closely with clinical teams to embed research within respiratory pathways, enhancing patient experience and access to novel therapies.

About the Team

Respiratory Research Team is a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team, working as part of the wider UHS Research & Development workforce. We collaborate closely with respiratory clinicians, allied health professionals, and external partners to deliver high-quality research studies across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Our team is actively involved in both commercial and non-commercial trials and works closely with the NIHR Clinical Research Facility and other research delivery teams across the Trust.
